French President Hollande holds key security meeting

  • France’s President Francois Hollande is holding a security meeting with his cabinet to deliberate on national security after the deadliest terror attacks on French soil in recent decades.

Questions are being raised on how the three gunmen were allowed to cause so much mayhem despite having known histories of extremism.

Seventeen people were killed in three days of terror that included attacks on the Charlie Hebdo magazine offices and a kosher supermarket, according to media reports.

On Sunday, some 1.5 million people and world leaders gathered in Paris in a show of unity in what is being called the largest rally in the history of France.
