French President Francois Hollande warns against attempts to disrupt Euro 2016

  • On the eve of the Euro 2016, French President Francois Hollande gave a stern warning against attempts to disrupt the tournament with strike action. As per media reports, France is already facing industrial action, largely over reforms to labor law. However, a train strike can affect the opening match scheduled for Friday. Train drivers have threatened to strike on a line serving the Stade de France in St Denis where on Friday evening the match between France and Romania will be held.
