France rail crash leaves dozens wounded

  • A double-decker train travelling at a speed of 140km/hr to the east of Montpellier smashed into a tree leaving dozens of people hurt and eight seriously injured. The accident site is popular for its vineyards and the current year's storm is expected to affect the harvest. The hailstorm has reportedly hit multiple areas of the south including the local residents in the area. According to an eye-witness, one passenger was thrown out of the train at Saint-Aunes in the Herault region.
