November 18 , 2014
Four Israelis were killed by two Palestinian men in a synagogue in Jerusalem on Tuesday, November 18, in what is being described as a terrorist attack, according to media reports.
The attackers, who were reportedly carrying knives and axes, were later shot and killed by security forces. The police said the men were from East Jerusalem and were also carrying a gun.
At least six people, including two policemen, were wounded in the attack in West Jerusalem’s Har Nof locality.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would “respond with a heavy hand to the brutal murder of Jews.”
