Former Pepsico CEO Indira K Nooyi may head the World Bank

The White House is considering former Pepsico CEO Indira K Nooyi to become the next head of the World Bank. It is alleged that Nooyi has been courted by US President’s daughter Ivanka Trump to become an ally to the Trump administration. Nooyi stepped down from the post of Chief Executive Officer of the World Bank in October 2018. Nooyi led the company for 12 years. The decision of Nooyi regarding the acceptance or refusal still remains unknown. US President Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump considers Nooyi as a mentor and also inspiration.
