Foreign ministers express 'grave concern' over ceasefire violations in Ukraine
April 14 , 2015
Foreign ministers of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine have expressed “grave concern” over ceasefire violations in eastern Ukraine, but said they would continue dialogue. As per reports, the four ministers had gathered in Berlin to assess the progress in the ceasefire agreement reached between Ukraine’s government and separatists in February.
Germany’s Frank-Walter Steinmeier said the truce needed to be “respected a lot more comprehensively”. European observers have reported renewed fighting around Donetsk, a stronghold of the pro-Russia rebels.
