Florida's House of Representatives passes bill increases the age to buy a gun from 18 to 21

  • Just weeks after one of the worst school shootings in the history of the United States, Florida's House of Representatives passed a bill which increases the age to purchase a gun from 18 to 21. As per media reports, the bill also imposes a three-day waiting period on the sales of all guns. The bill, which has been passed by the Senate, will now be sent to the Governor of Florida. On February 14, in a deadly shooting incident, 17 people were gunned down at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
