Flash flood at popular Arizona swimming hole: at least nine dead

  • The sheriff’s office at Arizona has stated that at least nine people have passed away following a flash flood at a well known swimming hole within Tonto National Forest. It happened when a wall of water swept through the swimming hole, which enjoys a pretty decent reputation among people who frequent the place. The sheriff’s office has also said that some other people are missing following the accident. J Adam Shepherd, Sheriff of Gila County, has also stated that crews are still looking for the ones who are missing.
