December 12 , 2014
Three people were killed in a fire accident on board the Oceania Insignia, a luxury cruise ship, when it was docked on the Caribbean St Lucia island, reports said.
Officials said two contractors and a crew member died. The 656 passengers on board were safely evacuated.
The fire was believed to have been started in the engine room of the Insignia, which was on a 10-day cruise. A US safety team will be helping with the probe.
