Fire in Myanmar destroys homes of 2,000 Rohingya Muslims
May 4 , 2016
A massive fire in Myanmar destroyed the homes of around 2,000 Rohingya Muslims. As per media reports, they were living in a camp for people who had been displaced by communal violence in 2012. Authorities said that the cause of the fire was a cooking stove at the Bawdupa camp, which located near Sittwe, the state capital. Strong winds apparently spread the fire.
