Fifa World Cup: France Players Welcomed Home with Raucous Reception

The French players were welcomed home to hundreds of thousands of fans cheering for them. France won the tournament beating Croatia 4-2 in the final round on Sunday. The victory marks the second win for France in 20 years. The players arrived at the Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport and were given a grand loud reception before their parade through the city of Paris.

Similar celebrations took place in 1998 when France beat Brazil in the World Cup final. Didier Deschamps was the captain then and now holds the position of the team coach. He's become the third man in the history of World Cup to win the game both as a player and a coach.
