FDA allows the ReWalk system
June 28 , 2014
The FDA has approved of the ReWalk system, which allows paralyzed people to be able to walk on their own. Reports suggest that the device is already used in order to help wounded personnel of US military but the recent green light indicates that anybody would be able to buy it now.
Media notes that the system, which is commonly used in Europe, helps people regain strength and stamina. "It will be incredible for me to regain independence, to use the system to walk and stand on my own," a Marine Captain said. "I see this as a milestone for people in my same situation who will now have access to this technology."
