Ex-president of Peru ordered to stand for trials again


  • The Ex-president of Peru  Alberto Fujimori was ordered by a Peruvian court to stand trial for the 1992 killings of six farmers. The decision has come just over a month after he was released from prison, where he was serving 25 years for human rights abuses and corruption. According to reports, the court wants to try 22 others for the death-squad killings. The 79-year-old Fujimori claims himself to be innocent and says that he will appeal to the higher court.
