Ernesto reaches hurricane strength

Tropical Storm Ernesto has reached hurricane strength while passing through northern Honduras and is approaching Belize and Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
According to the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC), it is bringing heavy rains and winds of up to 80mph.
At about 18:00 GMT on Tuesday, it was 185 miles east of Chetumal, Mexico and moving northwest.
A hurricane warning has been issued along parts of the eastern Yucatan peninsula and the entire coast of Belize.
Tropical storm warnings are also in place for the Honduras coast and sections of the Yucatan peninsula.
