England: After The Pubs and Bars Opened on Saturday, Police Complains Breach of Social Distancing Measures

  • As pubs and bars reopened on Saturday, the fear of Coronavirus apprehension increased in England. John Apter, The Chairman of the Police Federation, said that drunk people couldn't maintain social distancing properly. "It is crystal clear revelers would not adhere to the one-meter plus rule as restrictions were eased on Saturday." Further, Prof Chris Whitty said that the pandemic "is a long way from gone," and he also emphasized to follow social-distancing rules as pubs and restaurants reopened. But the pictures coming from London's Soho show packed streets into the early hours of Sunday. The breach of the social distancing norms came despite Boris Johnson and the government's of a second wave if measures are not strictly followed.
