Eight Kidnapped in Choco by Colombia's ELN Rebels

As per reports, the second largest rebel group of Colombia, the National Liberation Army (ELN), has been accused by the country’s government of abducting eight people in an isolated region.
The hostages were forced into a boat by the gunmen and were taken into a jungle in the western Chocó department, said the army.
A rescue operation is reportedly underway.
Details are still not clear about the incident that took place in Bogota.
Reports further say that 500 soldiers are going to be deployed to the area and 6,300 men are already in the region.
