Egypt: Army vows to continue offensive in Sinai until 'ISIS threat removed'

The Egyptian Army has vowed to continue its offensive in Sinai until Islamic State is removed from the peninsula.
The army’s statement came after more than 100 people were killed in clashes with suspected Islamic State (ISIS) militants.
The military used air strikes against militants. According to the military, 17 government troops were killed when militants attacked security checkpoints in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid.
Meanwhile, officials said that nine Muslim Brotherhood members, including Nasr al-Hafi, a former MP of the banned organization, were killed when the police raided a flat inCairo.
