Ebola quarantine: US nurse to take legal action after 'frightening' experience
October 27 , 2014
Kaci Hickox, an American nurse who treated Ebola patients in west Africa, is taking legal action for being held in quarantine after she returned to New Jersey, media reports say.
She said she was made to feel as though she were a criminal after she got back from Sierra Leone, one of the worst Ebola-affected countries.
Hickox, who works with Doctors Without Borders, said her being put into quarantine at New Jersey’s Newark airport was a “frightening” experience and a “frenzy of disorganization.”
