Ebola outbreak: Ivory Coast closes its borders

Ivory Coast has announced it is closing its borders to check the Ebola outbreak that has killed more than 1200 people in West Africa this year.
The country shares its borders with Liberia and Guinea — among the countries worst affected by the epidemic. A statement by the Ivory Coast government said the borders would remain closed till any further announcement is made in this regard.
Meanwhile, a British citizen staying in Sierra Leone in West Africa has tested positive for the Ebola virus.
