Ebola outbreak in Congo, second largest in history

As per the reports of the World Health Organization, the Ebola outbreak in the eastern Congo is the second biggest in world history. There are 426 confirmed and probable cases reported till now. It is believed that nearly 245 people have been killed in North Kivu and Ituri provinces. Congo has suffered 10 Ebola outbreaks till now. WHO emergencies chief Dr. Peter Salma revealed that there are 379 confirmed cases and 47 probable ones. It is predicted that the outbreak in the northeastern Congo will last for at least another six months before it can be contained.
