Ebola death toll crosses 5,000, WHO data says

The death toll from Ebola has crossed 5,000, according to the WHO, though the UN health agency warned that the actual number of fatalities is likely to be much higher.
While 5,160 people had died of the epidemic, the number of infection cases is 14,098, in eight countries, the WHO said.
The worst affected countries are Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea with 2,836, 1,169, and 1,142 deaths so far respectively, the WHO said.
