Earthquake off the coast of Japan
A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of northeastern Japan at 6.12am (21:12 GMT Tuesday). As per media reports, there are no reports of any damage and the authorities have also not issued any Tsunami warning. According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake struck off the east coast of Honshu Island. The nuclear reactors in the region are reported to be safe.
