Earthquake near Indonesia's Banda Sea

  • As per recent news updates, an earthquake of around 7.3 magnitude was felt near Indonesia's Tanimbar islands of Banda sea. Meanwhile, the tremors were felt on Monday, June 24, 2019. As per the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake was witnessed at a depth of around 208 Kilometers. Moreover, the residents of the Australian city of Darwin, who were around 720 km away, in one of their statements informed news agencies that even they were able to feel tremors of this natural calamity.
