6.9 magnitude earthquake hits Alaska's Aleutian Islands

  • Jul 27, 2015, Alaska - A 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. As per reports, the epicenter of the earthquake was 76 km southeast of Yunaska Island. The earthquake struck at a depth of around 11 km. The authorities have so far not issued any tsunami warning and there are no immediate reports of any damages or casualties.
