Doctor with Ebola being flown to US for treatment

  • A doctor who has been working in Sierra Leone and diagnosed with Ebola may be flown to the US for treatment, media reports said.

    Dr Martin Salia, a 44-year-old surgeon, is both a citizen of Sierra Leone and a permanent American resident.

    Reports said he is likely to be treated at Omaha’s Nebraska Medical Center.

    If confirmed, he would be the tenth person diagnosed with Ebola to be treated in the United States.
