Deal Allows Rebels and Civilians to Leave Darayya

  • A deal which was under government seige since 2012, has finally reached to enable the rebel fighters as well as many civilians to leave Darayya, a town in Syria. The evacuation will start on Friday. The civilians were provided with their supplies only in June. The residents have come across- near-constant crisis of food, water and electricity. As per the terms of the deal, 700 men will leave for Idlib, a rebel-controlled city, while 4,000 civilians will be given government shelters.
