Dead Argentine prosecutor 'planned arrest warrant' for President Fernandez: Probe
February 4 , 2015
Alberto Nisman, the Argentine prosecutor, who was found dead in his apartment at Buenos Aires, was planning an arrest warrant for Argentina’s president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.
This was revealed by Viviana Fein, the woman probing his mysterious death. According to Fein, the draft warrant was found in a garbage bin in the prosecutor’s building.
Nisman’s body was found with a bullet wound in the head. It is not yet clear yet whether it was a suicide or murder.
He had been investigating the bombing of a Jewish center in 1994 that killed 85 people. He had accused Fernandez of covering up Iran’s alleged involvement in the attack.
