Cuba wants U.S. to hand back Guantanamo Bay base

Cuba wants the United States to hand back the military base at Guantanamo Bay as part of the process to normalize relations, according to media reports.
Raul Castro, Cuba’s president, also wants the trade embargo lifted and the removal of Cuba from a terror list, media reports say.
In December, the two nations had announced mending of diplomatic ties that were severed more than five decades ago.
Last week, the first high-levels talks between the two sides took place.
In order to initiate discussions for reopening embassies in the capitals of two nations, a Congressional emissary reached Havana.
