Cops find boy locked up in a room for 2 years

  • Canadian police have saved a 10-year-old boy who was kept in a dirty room for nearly 2 years. The National Post reports that his family lives overseas and the parents of the boy left him in the custody of an aunt.

A detective mentioned that there was feces in the room and the boy was found wearing pajamas that were soaked in urine. He also looked malnourished since the uncle and aunt only gave him fast food twice a day.

Moreover, media reports indicate that the boy was allowed to use the toilet but was kept inside the room for the remainder of the day. He mentioned that he only wants two things - to eat regular food and to be able to go to school.
