Clashes in Ferguson after grand jury doesn't indict officer
November 25 , 2014
Violence erupted in Ferguson, US, after a grand jury decided that police Officer Darren Wilson will not be indicted in the death of black teenager Michael Brown.
Though a majority of protesters were peaceful, some clashed with the police in the late hours of Monday, November 24, following the verdict. Gunshots were reported and a group of protesters threw bottles at the police, who responded with tear gas, media reports said.
Brown's father had earlier said that irrespective of the grand jury’s decision, “I do not want my son's death to be in vain.” Read news about Ferguson Violence
