China's New Feat in Long Range Bombers

  • As per the reports in China, there have been landed bombers of long-range on a South China Sea's island for the first time. The move, however, has put Beijing at odds with Washington and its own neighbors for its growing military presence in the disputed islands. On Friday, the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) declared that it had successfully organized the landing and takeoff of several bombers, in which nuclear-capable H-6K is included as well. The mission, as PLA claimed, is to achieve quicker mobilization, greater strike capabilities, and a broader regional reach.
