China successfully landed a robotic spacecraft on Moon's far side

The un-crewed Chang'e-4, lunar probe of China successfully landed on the far side of the moon. The mission has marked a milestone for the country, and opened up opportunities for fresh exploration. It landed at 10:26 a.m. Beijing time at its target. Chang’e-4, was named after the moon goddess in Chinese mythology. In year 2013, China was also successful at making a soft landing on the moon. And this time around, it has emerged as the first country to launch a spacecraft in the South Pole-Aitken Basin.
