It went on to say that more fights are likely in the coming days. In the editorial on the official China Daily, it was said that “things are still very much up in the air” despite the fact that the US President Donald Trump has agreed to put off “decisions on Huawei until the end of negotiations” and also “postpone levying additional tariffs on Chinese goods”. It went on to say that reaching a 100 percent consensus is not easy because fundamental differences reside in the remaining 10 percent of the issues.
