China: Coronavirus Whistle-blower Doctor Passes Away

Li Wenliang, the 34-year old Chinese doctor who first warned about the outbreak of Coronavirus in Wuhan in December last year became a victim of the epidemic on Thursday. He was the earliest whistle-blower when the deadly Coronavirus case was detected in Wuhan. When Li Wenliang tried to warn the people through a message then he along with several medical staff landed in police net, they were charged for spreading wrong rumour. Meanwhile, the death toll due to Coronavirus has touched 632 while 2,447 new cases were detected in China.
