Catalan President Artur Mas could face prosecution

Catalan President Artur Mas faces prosecution after he went ahead with a controversial independence vote, defying an order by a court in Spain, media reports said.
Around two million people took part in the non-binding referendum, which has been slammed by Spain’s Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
Alicia Sánchez-Camacho, who heads Catalonia’s People’s party, said Mas had “crossed a red line.”
Around 80% of the votes were cast in favor of succession.
