Canada: Residents of Newfoundland is Digging 76.2 cm of Snow Off the Street

Residents of Newfoundland are witnessing record-breaking snowfall. As per a report by Environment Canada, St. John's International Airport recorded 76.2 cm (30 inches) of snow. A footage went viral where residents are seen digging themselves out of deep of snow covering streets and cars. Some parts of the province of Newfounbland and Labrador became a state of emergency including St.John's and Paradise. Officials instructed people to stay off the roads and permitted gas stations and pharmacies to stay open from noon until 7 pm.
