Top health officials say the total number of cases in California is doubling every three to four days. Whereas, Dr Mark Ghaly, the secretary of California's Health and Human Services Agency, said at a news conference on Wednesday that the doubling was expected every seven to eight days. He further says, "we're watching that trend very, very closely." Gov. Gavin Newsom told the citizens to stay at home to stop the virus from spreading further. However, as per the experts, it may take two weeks to see the results of such travel restrictions since the incubation period of the virus ranges from one to 14 days.
