Bus Blasts in Germany Injure Borussia Dortmund Player

  • As per reports, the Borussia Dortmund football team that was heading to their home Champions League quarter-final match against Monaco in a bus, was hit by three explosions on Tuesday. The explosions took place around 13 kilometers (8 miles) from Westfalenstadion, Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

    Player Marc Bartra was injured and had to undergo an operation after a bone in his forearm broke. Other players were not hurt.

    A handwritten letter was found near the scene claiming responsibility of the attack.

    The match has been postponed until Wednesday night.
