April 27 , 2015
At least two people were killed and several injured in violent clashes in Burundi that erupted after President Pierre Nkurunziza decided to seek a third term in office, a move that has been described as unconstitutional by opponents.
Police fired live shots in the air to disperse protesters who took to the streets of capital Bujumbura in thousands.
Demonstrators hurled rocks and set tires on fire, and the police struck back with water cannon, tear gas and live ammunition.
