Bulgaria bus bomber captured on CCTV

  • Bulgarian authorities have released CCTV footage of a man suspected of carrying out a deadly suicide bomb attack on a bus carrying Israeli tourists at Burgas airport.

The footage shows a white man with long hair and a backpack walking around the terminal and leaving before the blast.

The man is believed to be 36 years old and in possession of a fake U.S. driving licence.

Five Israelis and a Bulgarian driver along with the suspected bomber were killed in the explosion in the eastern Bulgarian city located close to the Black Sea.

At least 30 people were injured.

Israel has blamed the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iran for Wednesday's blast.

In response to the accusations, an Iranian foreign ministry official reiterated that Tehran strongly condemned "all terrorist acts".

Hezbollah, a Shia militant group, has not yet publicly commented on the attack.

Israeli Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov said the man is believed to have been in Bulgaria for up to seven days before the attack.

Authorities are now trying to identify him from DNA samples.
