Britain finally closes embassy in Libya

With the fighting between militias in Libya intensifying, Britain has finally closed its embassy in capital Tripoli and evacuated all staff.
Michael Aron, the British ambassador to Libya, said in a Twitter message that the UK had decided to “temporarily suspend Embassy operations in Libya”.
The US, Germany, France and Japan have already closed their embassies. Last weekend, vehicles carrying non-essential diplomats from Britain out of Libya were fired upon.
