Brazil SC judgment bans ex President from holding a cabinet post

Ex President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has been banned by the Supreme Court of Brazil from holding any Cabinet posts amid corruption charges in regards with the state oil company Petrobras. This is amidst rampant anti-government protests wherein. These are trying times for the South American giant with economy depreciating by almost 4% along with job layoffs, fears of a widespread Zika virus outbreak and onset of the Summer Olympics in few months.
