Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev found guilty of all charges
April 9 , 2015
A US jury has found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the accused in the Boston Marathon bombing, guilty of all charges he faced.
The Massachusetts jury has to now decide whether Tsarnaev, 21, will be sentenced to death or life imprisonment.
The April 2013 bombing, which killed three people and injured over 250, was the biggest terror attack on US soil after 9/11. A police officer was later killed when Tsarnaev and his older brother tried to escape.
Martin Walsh, the mayor of Boston, said that he hoped the verdict would bring “a small amount of closure.”
