Boris Nemtsov Murder: Chechen leader Kadyrov's links to suspect raise questions

  • The investigation into the murder of Boris Nemtsov has yielded no clear answers, with a man with links to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov emerging as one of the key suspects in the murder of the Russian opposition leader.

    Zaur Dadayev was among the five men, all Chechens, who have appeared in a court in Moscow.

    Meanwhile, in a curious twist to the case, Kadyrov, the Kremlin-backed leader, described Dadayev as a “genuine Russian patriot”.
