Boris Johnson to Drive Brexit as New PM of UK

  • As per recent news updates, Boris Johnson has been declared as the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Johnson belongs to the Conservative Party. Addressing public, the PM took a vow on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, in which he promised to get Brexit accomplished by October 31. Moreover, he will start handling the official duties from Wednesday, July 24, 2019 afternoon onwards. He will be taking charge of his roles and responsibilities in the presence of the Queen at Buckingham Palace. Media sources informed that later the new PM will enter his Downing Street residence and is likely to announce some positions of eminence. This includes a clutch of seniors for the cabinet posts, chancellor of the exchequer and the home secretary.
