Bombing kills 25 kids in Syria
May 1 , 2014
Twenty-five kids died when a bomb went off in an elementary school in Syria. Reports suggest that barrel bombs were dropped and the state-run news didn't mention the attack.
The New York Times also reported that pro-government locations were targeted and 50 civilians died yesterday. Elections are scheduled for June 3 but the violence is raising plenty of questions.
In other news about the region, the International Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons mentioned that it plans on heading to Syria after receiving reports regarding the chlorine gas attack.
