Bomb attack on Shia mosque in Kuwait: 27 killed

At least 27 people were killed in a deadly bomb attack on a Shia mosque in Kuwait. According to media reports, ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack on al-Imam al-Sadiq mosque in al-Sawaber, which occurred during the Friday prayers. Images posted on Twitter showed the devastation caused due to the bombing and a large number of bodies lying amidst the rubble. In a statement, ISIS has identified the bomber as Abu Suleiman al-Muwahed. The ISIS said that they had targeted a "temple of the rejectionists". The militant group uses this term for Shia Muslims.
