Boko Haram targets Nigerian market, dozens killed

Dozens of people were killed in an attack by the Boko Haram militant group in Mainok, a town in north-eastern Nigeria, reports said.
The victims include traders and buyers at a busy market in the town, which is around 35 miles from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
According to some reports, at least a dozen militants were killed in a gun-battle with security forces.
Recently, Boko Haram has seized several villages and towns in the country’s north-east.
