Boko Haram militants kill 100 civilians in Nigeria

Boko Haram militants massacred over a 100 people in Damboa town in north-east Nigeria.
The militants used rocket-propelled grenades and homemade bombs to drive people out of their homes and then gunned them down, reports quoting survivors of the carnage said.
Large parts of the town were burnt down.
Boko Haram , which has held more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls in captivity for three months, is responsible for more than 2000 civilian deaths in the first six months of this year, according to a report by Human Rights Watch.
