Hopes for finding survivors from a boat that capsized off Libya are fading as search teams in the Mediterranean have ruled out the possibility of finding any more survivors. The boat, which was carrying 600 migrants, ran into rough weather some 25 km from Libya’s coast. UN refugee agency (UNHCR) said 400 people were rescued. Media reports quoted the Italian coast guard as saying that 25 dead bodies have so far been recovered. However, they are unclear as to how many people are missing in the incident.
